BRAC Coach of the Year

Celebrating Coach Cornelius Snead for BRAC Honor
This season, Coach Cornelius Snead has continued to elevate Chatham Hall basketball with leadership, high expectations, and an deep belief in his players. His impact has not gone unnoticed. Coach Snead has been named Blue Ridge Athletic Conference (BRAC) Women’s Basketball Coach of the Year.

Under his guidance, the Turtles finished strong in conference play, secured a third-place finish in the BRAC Championship, and earned a berth in the VISAA State Tournament. Hosting postseason play on our home court was a testament to the team’s consistency and competitive growth throughout the season.

Coach Snead has helped to built a culture rooted in discipline, accountability, and confidence. Players are challenged not only to compete at a high level but also to think about the game, communicate effectively, and support one another. The result is a team that plays with composure, resilience, and pride.

This year’s All-Conference recognitions for multiple student-athletes further reflect the strength of the program Chatham Hall continues to shape.

We congratulate Coach Snead on this well-deserved recognition and thank him for the leadership, vision, and heart he brings to our community each day.
