Dear New Parents,
On behalf of the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC), welcome to Chatham Hall!
As a parent of two Chatham Hall girls, I am thrilled to welcome you to our community. I know you’re excited to begin your Chatham Hall journey, and I believe you will love this special School as much as we have these past seven years.
As PAC President, I’d like to share a bit about this important organization and the role it plays in the Chatham Hall community. The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) fosters meaningful parental involvement by coordinating volunteers for events such as Matriculation, Family Weekend, Open Houses, and Admitted Students’ Day. We also support regional gatherings where Chatham Hall connects with families and alumnae.
PAC is proud to support the school through a variety of efforts, including fundraising for the Chatham Hall Annual Fund and showing gratitude to our dedicated Faculty and Staff on Appreciation Day. Parent volunteers are essential to these efforts, and we deeply value the time and energy they contribute.
PAC is currently made up of returning parents from the Classes of 2026, 2027, and 2028. In April, we will warmly welcome new families into the PAC community. If you're interested in getting involved, please indicate your preferences on the forms you’ll complete over the summer — we’ll follow up as the new school year begins.
On behalf of all PAC families, I look forward to meeting you in August and connecting throughout the year. Please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re here to be a resource and advocate for every parent in our community.
Sincerely,
Amy Midkiff P’22, ’27
Parent Advisory Committee President
