We take great pride in our beautiful 365-acre campus and all of our facilities, including those our student-athletes use on a daily basis. Check out those spaces below using the yellow dots to scroll. See all of our campus spaces here.
Athletics, Health, & Wellness Center
A state-of-the-art athletics, health, and wellness center is currently under construction and coming to Chatham Hall in fall 2024! The new center will include a basketball court, indoor track, bouldering wall, yoga and dance studios, and much more.
Nellie's Field, 110x60 yards nestled between the Tennis Courts and Fitness Trail, is home to both our Field Hockey and Lacrosse teams.
We offer six courts and a hitting wall for Tennis players to use during practice and matches.
The Soccer field is one of the biggest fields in the area measuring 110x60 yards.
Located in Dabney Hall, the Fitness Center is open to students and athletic programs to aid in fitness training during the season and on weekends.
A campus favorite, the Fitness Trail is a 1-mile loop located on the backside of campus that features a bamboo forest. The Cross Country team often uses the trail as apart of their practices and home matches.
Onishi-Davenport Aquatics Center
Chatham Hall partners with neighboring Hargrave Military Academy to provide a beautiful Olympic-size pool for our swimmers and divers to compete at a high level.
Room to Roam
Our 365-acre campus is the perfect landscape for our Riding Program. In addition to our dedicated Riding facilities, students can ride out in multiple fields and trails.
In addition to practice and lessons, Mars Arena is used to host horse shows throughout the year.
This outdoor show ring is located at the back of campus by the gate on Chalk Level Road and is used for practice and competition.
Outdoor Practice Ring
Located adjacent to the stables, the sand outdoor ring is a major part of each rider's training program.
Hunter Trial Field
Test yourself and your horse on our permanent Hunter Trial course.
More than 30 horses call Chatham Hall home. Stalls are also available for students to board their own horses.
