Kristen Morrison teaches visual arts, yoga, and serves as the Art Department chair. Prior to coming to Chatham Hall in 2020, she taught visual art at Wethersfield High School, Kendall College of Art and Design, and Grand Valley State University after earning a M.A.T. from the Rhode Island School of Design and B.F.A. from Pratt Institute. Kristen loves the School’s dedication to advancing the talents of girls through active learning with a global perspective and that Chatham Hall is Georgia O’Keefe’s (1905) alma mater. In addition to teaching art and doing yoga, she loves traveling, dance, music, cooking, and reading. Something that might surprise you about Kristen is that she used to be an illustrator and photographer on archaeological sites across the U.S. and in the Middle East.
