Graf '25 to Study Neurobiology During Harvard Summer Pre-College Program

Anna Graf ’25 has been admitted to the Harvard University Summer School Pre-College Program to study neurobiology from July 22 - Aug. 2.
After successfully completing a year at Chatham Hall as an international ASSIST Scholar, Graf will take the next step in her pursuit of becoming a medical professional.

“The Harvard Pre-College Program is not a high school program, it’s a college program for high school students,” Graf said. “My Advanced Biology course with Mrs. McKinley has given me the confidence that I am well-equipped to navigate a college pre-med curriculum this summer.”

According to the program’s website, students in the Introduction to Neurobiology course will examine the structure and function of the mammalian nervous system; the development, adaptation, amd function of the nervous system; and gain understanding of core neurobiological principles while also broadening their perspectives on this field of research.

Graf and her classmates will meet students from all over the world, get a glimpse at what life is like on a college campus, gain life skills, and challenge themselves in college-level academics.

Way to go, Anna!
