Spring Sports Experience Growth, Success Throughout the Season

It was a successful season for Chatham Hall's lineup of spring sports.
In its second season as a competitive sport at Chatham Hall, the Varsity Golf team had another tremendous season. After numerous regular season wins, the Turtles claimed the inaugural BRAC Girls Golf Championship title with Milan Berry '23, Ellery Blurton '24, and Sophie Leak '23 were all recognized with 1st-Team All-BRAC honors and Coach Zach Smith being recognized as Coach of the Year. Additionally, four golfers competed at the VISAA Girls Golf State Invitational, all finishing in the top 30 in the intermediate division including Leak who placed 5th.

Varsity Soccer also experienced growth and success throughout the spring, including advancing to the VISAA State Quarter Finals. Three players earned All-BRAC honors, including Arina Seicas '24 (1st Team), Sophia Bossard '25 (2nd Team), and Avery Deigl '23 (2nd Team). Seicas was also recognized as 2nd Team All-State.
 
Also in its second season at Chatham Hall, the Varsity Track & Field team continued to strengthen its program and saw improvements across each event with all team members achieving new personal records. During the BRAC Championship, the 4x100m relay team earned medals and Sophie Becker '25 placed 2nd in the triple jump and 3rd in both the long jump and 300m hurdles. Eight student-athletes qualified for the VISAA State Championship in the 4x100m relay, shot put, long jump, triple jump, 100m dash, 100m high hurdles, 300m hurdles, and high jump, respectively.
