As this chapter of the IEA season comes to a close, our Chatham Hall Riding Team has much to celebrate and even more to look forward to. With determination, discipline, and countless long afternoons in the barn, our riders have earned an exciting next step: IEA Zone Finals.
We are proud to announce the team that will represent Chatham Hall at the IEA Zone Finals in Lexington, Kentucky, this March.
Lainey R. ’26 will compete in Open Flat and Fences.
Nora A. ’28 will ride in Intermediate Flat and Fences.
Hawkins D. ’29 will represent us in Novice Flat and Fences.
Charlie H. ’28 will compete in Walk Trot Canter.
In addition to contributing to our team effort, Nora A. ’28 (Intermediate Flat and Fences) and Sierra B. ’28 (Walk Trot) have also qualified as individual competitors, an impressive accomplishment that reflects their consistency and strength in the ring.
IEA competition demands adaptability, poise, and partnership. Riders draw unfamiliar horses and have only a brief warm-up before entering the arena, making success a true testament to skill, preparation, and composure. Our team has demonstrated all three throughout the season.
We are incredibly proud of these riders for earning their place at Zones and for representing Chatham Hall with grit and grace. We look forward to cheering them on in Lexington as they continue this exciting postseason journey.
