Who will win the Purple vs. Gold Giving Day Challenge?
It’s time for one of Chatham Hall’s most spirited traditions: the Purple vs. Gold Giving Challenge! On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, Charter Day becomes Giving Day — and every member of our community is invited to show up for their team.
Are you Team Purple? Or Team Gold?
This friendly competition is about more than school spirit; it’s about unlocking real dollars for our students. When 200 Purple donors give, $5,000 is unlocked. When 200 Gold donors give, another $5,000 is released.
Your gift earns a point for your team, regardless of the amount.
That means:
A $10 gift counts.
A $100 gift counts.
A $1,000 gift counts.
Participation is what powers this challenge.
And the excitement doesn’t stop there. Charter Day giving can also unlock:
$25,000 through the Leadership Match once $25,000 is raised.
$20,500 when we reach 500 total donors.
$1,950 with 250 alumnae donors.
$500 with 50 past or current parents.
In total, more than $57,950 is waiting to be unlocked.
So gather your classmates, rally your family, text your friends, and post your team pride. Whether you bleed Purple or shine Gold, February 24 is your day to show up for Chatham Hall. Because the real winners are our students.
