Chatham Hall is thrilled to celebrate an extraordinary milestone for one of our own: Chrisette J. ’26 has not only been named a QuestBridge National College Match Finalist, but has officially matched with Barnard College, earning a full four-year scholarship to one of the nation’s premier institutions.
The QuestBridge National College Match is among the country’s most prestigious college access programs, connecting high-achieving high school seniors with exceptional academic promise to full scholarships at top colleges and universities. This year, more than 25,000 students applied nationwide. Of those, fewer than 7,000 were named Finalists, and just 2,550 students earned a Match Scholarship, placing Chrisette among an elite group of students recognized for their academic excellence, leadership, and resilience.
Chrisette’s selection as both a Finalist and a Match Scholar reflects her outstanding academic record, intellectual curiosity, and deep commitment to her community. Her journey is a testament to what is possible when talent meets determination, qualities deeply rooted in the values of a Chatham Hall education.
“I am so proud of Chrisette and all she has accomplished in earning this outstanding honor,” said Tiffany Gray-Williams, Director of College Counseling. “I truly cannot imagine a student more deserving of this scholarship. She shines academically and leads with integrity, compassion, and a deeply rooted moral compass.”
As a QuestBridge Match Scholar, Chrisette will receive a full four-year scholarship covering tuition, room, and board at Barnard College, one of QuestBridge’s 52 distinguished partner institutions. This opportunity not only recognizes her past achievements but also opens the door to an exciting next chapter marked by possibility, purpose, and continued growth.
Christette shared, “I would like to extend my gratitude to QuestBridge for providing me with the opportunity to attend Barnard College, as well as everyone who has supported me on this journey. I would have never imagined that I’d be attending a prestigious school like this, and it’s baffling to think about how much I have grown from this program alone.” She continued, “I am so proud of my fellow QuestBridge Scholars, and I can’t wait to start this new chapter of my life! Go Bears!”
The QuestBridge organization notes that Match Scholars represent more than top academic performers. They are leaders, innovators, and changemakers driven to make a positive impact on the world around them. Chrisette embodies all of these qualities and more.
At Chatham Hall, we are immensely proud of Chrisette’s accomplishments and cannot wait to see all that she will bring to the Barnard community and beyond.
