Tougher than expected

In the beginning of the season we beat North Cross with 3-1. After that, North Cross went on to beat some of the higher ranked teams, so we were aware they had to have improved since then. Going into a game that we knew we should win, after a 11-1 win to one of our bigger rivals, was tough. From the beginning, North Cross was on the attack, but our defence including our goalie kept the goal empty. Slowly but surely Chatham Hall took over the game, and by the end of regular play time it was clear that we should have won. North Cross was aware as they were celebrating to go into overtime. During overtime it was clear that we should be the winning team, and in the 9th minute of we got the goal we had been waiting for. That brings us to our current record of 7 wins and 4 losses, a decade high. Girl of the match; Marian Moreno being strong thoughout the game and scoring the game-winning goal.
