After our undeserved 0-1 Loss away at Carlisle last week, we were determine to win this game, and show that we are capable of scoring. The two practices we head were focussed on that specifically and it paid off. After 15 minutes and 3 goals, it was clear that Chatham Hall had the upper hand and was going to control this game. That lead to a lot of frustration on the other team, which could potentially turn it into a tough game. Therefore, the biggest challenge was to be 'the better person' and not let our emotions, be it overconfidence, frustration, or satisfaction, take control of our game. We had to show a constant drive to score, and we did. With 11 goals on the scoreboard at the end of the game, we can proudly say that we kept our heads cool, and remained focus on our own game. Girl of the match, Louise Strawn with 4 goals and 5 assists.
