Double overtime and Shoot Outs

We came for revenge, and we got it. We lost 0-5 in our first game of the season against Covenant, who had a month worth of pre-game while we had 1 week. The entire season, we have been showing progress, and that was shown today. Our minds and bodies were in the right place and we had a tremendous amount of support from friends and family out in Charlottesville. Eventhough Covenant showed to be more dominant in terms of possession and shots on goal, we proved ourself by showing resilience in the back, as well as outbreaks in the front. After double overtime the coaches and refs decided to do Shoot Outs; 8 second 1v1's. Chatham Hall was up by 1 in the first 3, but lost that advantage and tied the first series of 5. After going into Sudden Death we lost. This goes in the books as a big win for Chatham Hall, we are going to keep our heads up, and coming back for the real W. Girl of the match, Virginia Roberts with incredible saves and keeping her mind clear during shoot outs.
