Raising the Bar: Elevating Athletics to Match Chatham Hall’s Legacy of Excellence

Chatham Hall has one of the most beautiful and spacious campuses in the country. Combined with a rich academic history and a tradition of excellence, it is, in my opinion, the best private school environment and academic institution in the state of Virginia. Every day, this campus inspires students to grow, learn, and strive for their best.

My vision is to elevate our athletic programs to match the school’s exceptional academic reputation. I want Chatham Hall to be known not only for its rigorous academics, but also for having one of the strongest athletic departments in the state, and ultimately, in the nation. We have everything a student-athlete needs to be successful: strong coaches, outstanding facilities, supportive faculty, and a community that believes in the growth of the whole student.

Athletics has the power to bring people together, and I want our programs to strengthen the bond between the school and the greater community. A thriving athletic environment benefits everyone: students, families, alumnae, and our neighbors. Through sports, we can build school spirit, create shared experiences, and open new doors for connection and engagement.

A major part of my vision is to make Chatham Hall a destination for college coaches. I want college recruiters to visit our campus regularly, to watch our student-athletes compete, and to build genuine relationships with our coaching staff. These relationships can inspire our athletes, open opportunities at the next level, and provide mentorship for our coaches as they continue to grow in their profession.

Reaching a national level of recognition will help us attract high-quality student-athletes who want to learn from the exceptional faculty and dedicated coaches here at Chatham Hall. When academics and athletics rise together, the entire school becomes stronger.

I am truly blessed to serve as the Athletic Director at Chatham Hall. My goal is to use that blessing to positively impact the next generation, to help our students discover their strengths, pursue their dreams, and become confident young women ready to lead in the world.

Chatham Hall is already extraordinary. With vision, hard work, and a unified community, our athletic programs can become a shining example of excellence, opportunity, and purpose.
