Strong showing from Tennis

The Tennis Team traveled to Eastern Mennonite in Harrisonburg Virginia on Friday. We had a strong showing from everyone only losing one match in singles. Emily Grass had a great match against a strong Mary Fairfield in the #2 spot. There were lots of long ralleys and Emily edged her out and landed on top with a 8-6 victory. In doubles Hannah Faison and Claire carmody had a solid win over the #2 and #3 from EMHS. Solid serving and strong play at the net earned them a 8-5 win. Overall, the girls played well and are a delight to work and travel with. 

Our focus now turns to moving our feet quicker and to raising our competitive edge.

Tomorrow we head to North Cross for a 4:30pm match.
