This camp is designed to develop 21st-century skills, empowering future female innovators to explore the “why” behind the “what” in science, technology, engineering, and math. Campers will engage in hands-on experiences, from building and programming electronic devices to coding them using a variety of sensors. As they explore, they’ll uncover the physics that drives these circuits and devices, learning how technology connects with the scientific principles behind it.
In creative sessions at Chatham Hall’s Makerspace, InnovatHers will experience cutting-edge tools like 3D printers, laser engravers, and casting with different materials. They’ll dive deep into the chemistry and physics behind these processes, investigating reactions and exploring the creative side of science.
