Chatham Hall Students Selected for Prestigious USHJA Emerging Athletes Program
Join us in congratulating Lainey R. ’26 and Avery H. ’26 on being selected to participate in the USHJA Emerging Athletes Program (EAP) this summer in Tryon, NC, from July 23–27, 2025!
This prestigious program is designed for dedicated, talented riders looking to take their skills and horsemanship to the next level—and we couldn’t be prouder of these two for earning their well-deserved spots.
Lainey has been selected for the .90m riding section, where she will receive world-class instruction and training. Her strong riding skills, technical ability, and deep commitment to the sport helped secure her place in this highly selective program. Should she perform well at the regional level, Lainey could be invited to the national training session, where she would have the rare opportunity to ride with Olympic Gold medalists.
Avery has been chosen for the Stable Management Session, a non-riding track focusing on horsemanship, equine care, and barn management. Her selection showcases her outstanding knowledge and dedication to caring for horses at the highest standard.
Both students completed a rigorous application process, including multiple videos and a challenging written exam. Their acceptance is a testament to their talent, hard work, and passion for equestrian sport.
We can’t wait to cheer Lainey and Avery on as they learn, grow, and proudly represent Chatham Hall!
