The prestigious MZ Farms/USHJA Emerging Athletes Program National Training Session is a highly competitive opportunity, bringing together just 16 riders from across the country who were selected from regional sessions based on the recommendations of top clinicians. A select number of athletes demonstrating exceptional stable management skills are also invited, and Avery will be part of this track at Nationals.
Throughout the multi-day program, participants work closely with world-class instructors, including riding clinician Joe Fargis and stable management clinician Colleen Reed. The training is designed to test and strengthen every aspect of horsemanship—riding, stable management, teamwork, and technical knowledge. Riders and stable managers alike are immersed in the full equestrian experience, from barn chores to veterinary seminars to competition-style events, all with the goal of developing the next generation of well-rounded equestrian athletes.
For Avery, this honor reflects not only her skill in the ring but also her dedication to the discipline, care, and commitment required to excel in equestrian sport.
We are proud of Avery’s hard work and excited to cheer her on as she represents Chatham Hall at the 2025 EAP National Training Session in November!
