Global Scholars Present Bold Visions for the Future
Three students present.
Last week, three of Chatham Hall’s exceptional Global Scholars stepped into the spotlight to present their capstone projects at the annual Global Scholars Symposium. Each presentation reflected the depth of their research, the clarity of their vision, and their commitment to addressing global challenges with thoughtfulness and creativity.
Julia S. presented on Gender Bias in Healthcare, exposing the systemic disparities that women face in medical treatment and research. Her project highlighted how these biases affect health outcomes and called for a more equitable healthcare system that listens to and prioritizes female patients.
Maeve R. explored Artificial Intelligence and Modern Storytelling, delving into how technology is shaping narrative structures, character development, and the creative process. Her presentation invited reflection on the role of AI in art and the evolving relationship between humans and machines in storytelling.
Auri H.J. shared her work on Holistic Architecture and Sustainable Housing, emphasizing the importance of environmentally responsible design that also nurtures mental and physical well-being. Her project envisioned homes and communities that support sustainability and a healthier way of life.
These three scholars demonstrated not only academic excellence but also leadership, empathy, and global awareness, which define the Chatham Hall experience. Their work challenges us to think differently, act boldly, and engage deeply with the world around us.
