Global Entrepreneurship Students Explore Student Experience
Students Present to ALT
Our Global Entrepreneurship 1 (GE 1) class recently presented their market research to the Administrative Leadership Team (ALT), sharing insights on student feedback and retention. Through surveys, interviews, and focus groups, the students explored a key question: What helps students remain at Chatham Hall, and what do they value most about their experience?
The focus was less on the sample size and more on the process. Students designed surveys, practiced interview techniques, and facilitated focus group discussions, gaining hands-on experience in research and data collection.
Key Insights:
Traditions and Community: Traditions continue to be a highlight, fostering school pride, building community, and creating lasting memories.
Athletics and Activities: While current sports options are appreciated, students expressed interest in additional opportunities. Service leagues and activities with friends were particularly valued.
Financial Support: Students emphasized access to scholarships, grants, and work-study, along with workshops on budgeting and financial literacy, and open communication about financial needs.
Student-Teacher Connection: Flexibility, supportive learning environments, and constructive feedback were noted as essential for student growth.
Leadership Opportunities: Programs like Prefects, Honor Council, and student-led initiatives provide valuable leadership experience and collaboration skills.
This project reinforced what makes Chatham Hall special: rich traditions, meaningful service, and opportunities for leadership. Listening to students’ voices helps the School continue to enhance the experience for every girl. Thank you so much to our GE 1 students for their amazing work and insight!
