A Thanksgiving message from Rector Sara Stephenson reflecting on gratitude, community, and the enduring sisterhood that defines Chatham Hall.
Dear Chatham Hall Community,
As we pause in the busy rhythm of our lives to reflect on what we are thankful for, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you. Being surrounded by our students, faculty, staff, and alumnae is a daily gift, and I am deeply aware of the ways every member of the Chatham Hall community impacts those around them.
This year, we have seen countless alumnae come together through our Cheers to Chatham Hall events, celebrating connection and shared memories. Welcoming prospective students at our recent Open House reminded me of the enduring spirit that begins here and continues to flourish: from young girls imagining their futures to alumnae living out the lessons and values of their Chatham Hall experience, our community is a testament to growth, resilience, and shared purpose.
I am especially grateful for the bonds of friendship, mentorship, and sisterhood that make Chatham Hall such a unique and inspiring place. Your dedication, joy, and care, whether in classrooms, dorms, offices, or across generations of alumnae, bring life to this extraordinary community.
May this season of Thanksgiving be a time to celebrate the blessings around us, the relationships we cherish, and the impact we have on one another. Thank you for being part of the heart of Chatham Hall.
