Since coming to Chatham Hall, I’ve become more confident in the classroom, more comfortable talking in class.
If I have a question, I will ask it. I’m not worried anymore about bothering people by simply asking for help. The supportive community at Chatham Hall is what created that confidence for me. In fact, the best thing about Chatham Hall is the community. People are so warm, supportive, and welcoming.
I would tell students thinking about coming to Chatham Hall to not let fear of homesickness hold them back. It is scary to be in a new place. However, I am so glad I did not let my worries about coming to Chatham Hall stop me. Students adjust to the environment, and there are so many people and resources for helping new students feel at home.
