Chatham Hall is proud to recognize Rose W. ’27 for an outstanding academic achievement in mathematics. Rose has been named to the Honor Roll of Distinction for scoring in the top 1% of all students nationwide who participated in the American Mathematics Competition 12 (AMC 12). In addition, she has qualified for the highly selective American Invitational Mathematics Exam (AIME).
The AMC 12 is a rigorous national mathematics competition open to high school students and serves as the first step on the pathway toward the International Math Olympiad, the most prestigious mathematics competition in the world. Earning distinction at this level reflects not only exceptional mathematical ability but also deep problem-solving skills, persistence, and intellectual curiosity.
Rose’s accomplishment is a testament to her dedication and love of learning, as well as to the culture of academic challenge and support that defines the Chatham Hall experience. We are incredibly proud of her achievement and look forward to seeing how she continues to explore and excel in mathematics.
