Days on the Hill

As we enter the final year of Boundless Potential: The Campaign for Chatham Hall, we invite you to be part of something extraordinary during Days on the Hill: A Virtual Homecoming, January 19–23, 2026. This celebratory week highlights the impact of a campaign that is shaping Chatham Hall’s future for generations to come. Through Boundless Potential, we continue toward our goal to fully fund transformative capital projects, including the Wagoner-LaDuke Center for Athletics, Health and Wellness, a powerful investment in girls’ confidence, leadership, and lifelong wellbeing. Join us online as we cheer on basketball in our new gym, unwind with yoga in our new studio, and celebrate the vibrant athletic spirit that defines Chatham Hall.

Experience JanTerm Spark Sessions, where students share passion-driven projects. Later, join our beloved Virtual Cookie Break to meet Rector Sara Stephenson, Kimber Keating, Director of Enrollment and Engagement, and Shannon Reynolds, Director of Strategic Advancement.

Students will design and lead a small-group project inspired by a personal passion or curiosity. Over the course of JanTerm, they’ll dive deeply into a topic of their choosing, learn how to communicate their enthusiasm to others, and ultimately create and teach a lesson to their peers and teachers. Last year’s student-led explorations ranged from biochemical cooking to wardrobe management to nail care, but each project is entirely shaped by the interests and creativity of the students themselves.

The Basics of Crocheting
This will be an instructional course, so please bring crocheting needles and yarn.
In this class, students will learn the basics of crocheting, including what supplies are needed and common mistakes beginners make. We will go over basic crochet terms and practice making different stitches while learning what each one is used for. Students will also learn about different things they can create with crochet. By the end of the class, they will feel more confident starting their own crochet projects.
