Thanksgiving Show a Success for IEA Riders

Chatham Hall
On the first Saturday of Thanksgiving break, seven members of the IEA Team traveled to Randolph College to participate in Mane Top Stable's Fall Show.
The team ended up third overall thanks to strong performances from all of the Chatham Hall Riders. Shannon Huth came in sixth out of a competitive over fences class in the Open division. Maddi Grossman and Zoe Holliday both received fourths over fences in their sections of Intermediate. Of the three riders in the Novice fences classes, Emma Jones had a tough first jump, and then a beautiful trip, but no ribbon, while Gwen Werth had a nice round, earning her a fourth. Rounding out the Novice riders, Isabella Hubbard had a strong ride and won the class. Isabella added to her win over fences with a second first-place finish on the flat. Finishing out the day was Bri Wagner in the walk trot canter but, with a tough draw, she ended up out of the ribbons. The IEA team will next compete at Clover Grove in Staunton, VA on December 9th.
