Zhang '23 Accepted to Wharton Global Youth Program

Zhaojiayi “Tina” Zhang ’23 has been accepted to the Wharton Global Youth Program, a summer program hosted by the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. The program offers seven on-campus business experiences, and Zhang will be attending Leadership in the Business World (LBW).

“I felt like this program would allow me to learn more about myself as a leader, and I’m hoping to learn how I can apply leadership skills, for example, to the Money, Money, Money Club when we face a challenge,” said Zhang.

Offered only to rising seniors, LBW offers an introduction to undergraduate business education and the opportunity to hone leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. Since 1999, students from six continents and almost every state have participated in LBW.

Throughout the program, LBW students attend lectures and presentations from both Wharton faculty members and guest speakers; participate in classroom discussions; apply business practices through digital simulations and case competitions; and conduct research on business enterprises. All students who successfully complete the program are awarded a Wharton Global Youth Certificate of Completion.
