Reunion 2021 Offers “Double the Fun”

“Unfortunately, the pandemic cancelled last year’s reunion so this year we celebrated the milestone reunions of two sets of classes,” explained Director of Alumnae and Parent Relations Christine Gilmore. “For example, we hosted 50th Reunions for both the Class of 1970 and the Class of 1971. It truly was ‘double the fun.’”

 

Also on this year’s weekend schedule was a tour of campus led by current students, a community open-mic coffeehouse, class gatherings, a gala toast, a silent auction, an historical presentation on Lucy Chaplin Lee by Dr. William Black, a journaling workshop led by Terri Martinez ’85, and a Reunion Memorial Chapel service.

 

“A silver lining this year was that with so many virtual events, alumnae could join in from wherever they were,” noted Gilmore. “I hope they enjoyed bringing a little bit of Chatham Hall into their homes.”
