Juniors Visit Baltimore for International College Fair

Chatham Hall
On October 21 and 22, the junior class traveled to Baltimore, Maryland to attend the National Association of College Admissions Counseling College Fair.
Juniors also had the chance to stopover in Washington, D.C., where they toured the “Shall Not Be Denied” exhibit at the Library of Congress celebrating the 100th anniversary of women gaining the right to vote.

Then, on Tuesday, the class went first to Goucher College for a presentation by one of the admissions counselors and student-led tours of campus.  Afterward, the juniors went to the Inner Harbor for some free time to shop and eat. The last stop of the day was the NACAC college fair, with over 300 different colleges and universities in attendance. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and collect information from representatives of schools around the country and the world. The schools in attendance included the University of Connecticut, Washington University in St. Louis, UC Irvine, and the University of London.
