Students Explore the Nation's Capital Over Fall Break

Chatham Hall
Over the Fall Break, a group of international students traveled to Washington, D.C. for the chance to experience the sights and sounds of the nation’s capital.
The trip included visits to the World War II, Vietnam, and Martin Luther King Jr. Memorials and free time to explore Georgetown. Students and their chaperones also had the chance to visit the National Mall, as well as have lunch in China Town. The girls, along with chaperones Cassandra Patterson and Jacqueline Comola had a wonderful time bonding over shared meals and exploring the nation’s capital.

Reflecting on the trip, Ms. Comola said, “The trip to D.C. was a great success! Everyone had the chance to embrace the city lifestyle and feel independent and free as we walked all over the capital, learning history, shopping, and making friends along the way.” In all, the long weekend in Washington proved to be an enjoyable and relaxing break for all of the travelers.
