Pruden Hall
Pruden Hall serves as the main entrance to Chatham Hall and houses the administrative and admissions offices, and two floors of dormitory space. The Health Care Center is also located in Pruden Hall and makes for a great "home away from home" when you’re not feeling well. It is named for Rev. C. Orlando Pruden, one of the school’s founders.

Dabney Hall
The main floor of Dabney Hall houses English, math, history and journalism classrooms. Above the classrooms are two floors of dormitory rooms. On the lower level, there is a Student Center, renovated in 2006, which includes a comfortable lounge area called "the Niche," a snack bar, a day students lounge and locker room, a newly equipped fitness center, a tiered movie viewing room, the student activities office, post office, bookstore, kitchen and laundry facilities.

Lee Library
Our library of approximately 30,000 volumes was constructed in 1987. It boasts an electronic card catalog and Internet access, as well as a media room housing DVDs, videos and CDs for student and faculty use. Downstairs is the popular Tea Room for reading, studying and club meetings.

St. Mary’s Chapel
Renaissance in style with a brick exterior, St. Mary’s Chapel is a holy place with an interior reminiscent of a European cathedral. It boasts a barrel-vaulted ceiling, slate floor and beautiful stained glass windows, as well as a central nave, which passes through a split chancel to enter a deep high-altar area lined with choir pews. Chapel services are held here on Tuesday and Friday mornings and Sunday evenings.

Rectory
The Rector lives and entertains alumnae, parents and other visitors in this historic home. The beautiful backyard is also the perfect location for many student functions including the new girl picnic and class dinners.

Willis Hall
Willis Hall houses the advancement office and two large classrooms. Willis is the home of St. Francis of Piedmont, a 1955 (21’ 6” by 8’ 2”) mural painted by Athos Menaboni.

Yardley Dining Hall
Yardley Hall received a massive renovation during the summer of 2008. In addition to a state-of-the-art, open-air kitchen, the dining hall has been refurbished with new tables, chairs and carpeting. The sleek yet comfortable design and layout is a perfect setting for our community meals.

The Big Oak
The Big Oak (estimated at being close to 400 years old), and its surrounding meadow, has always played a big part in the life of Chatham Hall. The School recently reclaimed the meadow with an aggressive environmental project that reversed erosion of the pond and protected the roots of this majestic tree. The meadow and tree served as a picture-perfect backdrop for the entire School community at Chatham Hall's recent annual Reunion.

Arts Building
This multi-purpose building houses the Black Box Theater, our dance studio and a large visual arts studio – fully equipped for pursuing and perfecting a variety of mediums.

Holt Hall
Chatham Hall is one of only a few schools with a facility dedicated to the languages. Holt, which reopened in 2004 after extensive renovation, includes four technology-equipped classrooms for foreign and classical language instruction and two faculty apartments.

Gym
The gymnasium facility is utilized for basketball, volleyball, dances and field day activities. Two locker rooms are available, and there is a large balcony area for spectators.

Shaw Science Building
Opened in 2003, Shaw is a state-of-the-art facility that includes four fully wired laboratory/classroom facilities, a high-tech lecture hall, a greenhouse, and offices for the science faculty. Shaw’s exceptional technology resources make it possible to bring the world to Chatham Hall through distance learning. One example is the course, Exploring the Islamic World Through Film, taught by a Chatham alumna and professor living in Boston.

Van Voorhis Lecture Hall
This newest addition makes it possible for the entire Chatham Hall community and guests to gather on campus to hear lectures by some of the world’s greatest leaders, thinkers and artists. The new 3,788 square foot lecture hall accommodates an audience of up to 320-350 people and was completed in the spring of 2009.

Chatham Hall Riding boasts a beautiful permanent Hunter Trials Course, three teaching arenas including the Mars Indoor Riding Arena, not to mention plenty of trails all through our 360-plus acres.
