Riding Camps

If you’ve been searching for a great summer residential riding camp experience, your quest is over. You’ve found it at Chatham Hall.

The Chatham Hall Riding Camp welcomes riders of all levels ages 9-14. It is an excellent riding and residential experience packed with fun-filled activities to help you learn to ride and/or improve your riding skills. You might take a trip to a horse show, visit the veterinary school of a nearby university, or tour area veterinary clinics. You’ll also enjoy such activities as moonlight trail rides, screenings of famous films about horses and more.

The riding facilities on our beautiful 362-acre campus include 40 stalls, the 125 x 250-foot indoor Mars Arena, two outdoor teaching arenas, a permanent hunter trail course, several schooling fields, and several acres of wooded and open trails.

Proper attire please!
Riders must wear an ASTM/SEI-certified helmet whenever mounted, paddock boots (or a shoe with a heel), and long pants. Chatham Hall has a number of ASTM/SEI-certified helmets available for use. We also recommend a pair of riding gloves to protect your hands.
